Rebirth day

21 December 2024 from 14:00 to 19:00

21 December, the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere and the summer solstice in the southern hemisphere, is a date celebrated by mankind since time immemorial.
A fateful connotation of ‘the end of the world’, as widespread as it is unfounded, has been attributed to this day in 2012, reviving a recurring theme in mythologies and religions, as well as in fantasy and science fiction.
Regardless of any more or less imaginative factors, this date can take on a symbolic meaning, as it effectively corresponds to a culminating phase in human history.

The ecological disruption caused by the exploitation and pollution of the planet, the phenomenon of consumerism combined with demographic growth leading to a condition of global unsustainability, the crisis of cultures that have determined the patterns of thought and common practices, all of this occurring in conjunction with an exponential growth of scientific technological development that has brought human beings to a power both constructive and destructive that they have never had before and, therefore, to an extreme responsibility.

Human society as a whole is now facing a reckoning, thus facing an epochal transition leading to an overall transformation.

Humanity has experienced two paradises. The first in which it was totally included in nature. The second in which it has expanded into its own artificial world that has grown to the point of conflict with the natural planet. The time has come to initiate the Third Paradise (more information on the project ‘The Third Paradise’) in which mankind will succeed in reconciling and combining artifice with nature, creating a new balance extending to every level and sphere of society.

‘An evolutionary transition in which human intelligence finds ways to coexist with the intelligence of nature.’
