‘The images in the exhibition
are memories of my life. My mother adored flowers and plants and passed on her love of nature to me.
When I look at these creatures, I am amazed by their uniqueness.
The first impulse is to pose them and capture the traits of their authentic expression, as if they were portraits of people’.
Maria Tea Morello began this photographic project in 2020 using an iPhone X.
A lover of nature and its infinite forms, she has been photographing for several years.
Her photographic book Ritratti was published in 2022.
She lives in Udine.
