Once again this year Villa Manin is pleased to host one of the events of the Musica in Villa® 2024 review.
The event, conceived by Progetto Integrato Cultura del Medio Friuli, is now in its thirtieth edition, and to celebrate the prestigious anniversary, it has adopted the slogan Radicati nel futuro (Rooted in the future). A claim that emphasises the link with trees, which are so present in the Middle and Lower Friuli that they characterise the territory and the venues hosting the event. And it is also a symbolic link: the roots are represented by the communities that gave birth to and nurture the aggregative convention; the throne testifies to the development and enrichment over time, and the branches to future projects.

Remembering the unique voice of Francesca Scaini, a soprano who brought prestige to the Middle Friuli region, a concert pays homage to Giacomo Puccini on the 100th anniversary of his death. An intense programme featuring arias, duets and intermezzos composed by the man who, by innovating musical language, gave Italian melodrama a modern European dimension.
