The piano tribute to Michael Jackson

The project is the brainchild of Marco Ballaben, inspired by the 40th anniversary of the worldwide release of “Thriller,” perhaps the best-selling album in pop history.
The duo consists of Marco Ballaben, a pianist and keyboardist of “pop” extraction who has been active for decades with various ensembles and solo projects, and Sebastian Di Bin, a classical musician who has won numerous international competitions, but is sensitive to quality pop culture.
The two pianist-composers performed their own original and unique piano renditions on most of the songs from the aforementioned album and other immortal songs by the great Michael Jackson . After their debuts at the TriesteLovesJazz Festival and the Koper Littoral Festival they will perform on September 28, 2024 7 pm in the courtyard of honor of Villa Manin.
The event, organized and promoted by ERPAC FVG and Associazione Musicale e Culturale Armonie APS, is free admission subject to availability.
In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Benois De Cecco Theater in Codroipo.
