The hidden places of Villa Manin
Also this year Villa Manin is taking part in the third edition of the Venetian Villas Day event scheduled for 19 and 20 October 2024.
On Sunday 20 October at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. it will be possible to take part in two special accompanied visits.
Together with those who work at Villa Manin we will visit rooms that are not normally accessible to the public, discover secrets and anecdotes, listen to distant legends and stories closer in time.
An exclusive visit to get to know a little more about this Venetian villa, the residence of the last Doge of the Venetian Republic and Napoleon Bonaparte’s headquarters.
After the accompanied visit it will be possible to continue the visit of Villa Manin independently. In this period it is possible to see the exhibitions T3rza Terra – Michelangelo Pistoletto and Cittadellarte at Villa Manin with the works of the master of arte povera and Villa Manin. Il re, il Kaiser e le oche (The King, the Kaiser and the Geese), a collection of images and films recounting the most recent history of the Doge’s Villa.
Information
The visit is only in Italian and it is for a maximum of 15 people per group and lasts approximately one hour at a price of €12.00 per person (free for children under 12 accompanied by a paying adult)
The interior spaces are small and are sometimes connected by narrow, steep stairs. For these reasons, they are not accessible to people with walking difficulties or to children in pushchairs and prams.
