A musical journey through the history of Friuli over the past 70 years. This is what ‘O BLANC O NERI BASTE CHE AL SEDI BON’ promises, the new show by Dario Zampa that will be staged on Saturday 14 September 2024 at 8.30 p.m. in the splendid setting of Villa Manin in Passariano di Codroipo.
This year, in fact, the Friulian singer-songwriter celebrates 50 years of discography and to celebrate this important milestone he has decided to treat the public to a unique concert-event. Among songs, anecdotes and reflections, Zampa will retrace his long artistic career, bringing his best-loved songs to the stage and telling the stories that inspired them.
Dario Zampa: an icon of Friulian music
Dario Zampa is a leading figure in the Friulian music scene. With a career spanning fifty years, he has managed to win the hearts of thousands of listeners thanks to his warm voice and his songs that celebrate the culture and traditions of his land.
Born in Pagnà in 1946, Zampa is deeply attached to his homeland and the Friulian language.
He began his career in the 1970s, releasing numerous albums that were a great success. In over thirty years of activity, he has sold more than 150,000 records. His songs range from themes related to love and everyday life to deeper reflections on Friulian society and culture.
An exceptional cast
Accompanying Dario Zampa on stage will be highly talented musicians: Omar Malisan on guitar, Andrea Grosso on bass, Nicola Masolini on percussion, and Grazia Rapetti as backing vocalist. There will also be special guest appearances by accordionist Sebastiano Zorza and historian Angelo Floramo.
The event, organised and promoted by ERPAC FVG and SimulArte, is free admission while places are available.
In the event of bad weather, the concert will be held in the hall of honour of Villa Manin.
