On 9 July 2025 Sting will bring to Villa Manin – Codroipo (UD), one of the dates of his ‘Sting 3.0’ World Tour for a new big date of ‘GO!2025&Friends’, the programme of events that accompanies the official programme of ‘GO!2025’, an event conceived and promoted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region on the occasion of Nova Gorica-Gorizia European Capital of Culture.

With 17 GRAMMY Awards® and more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner aka STING, is one of the world’s most important and distinctive solo artists.

Composer, songwriter, actor, author and frontman of The Police, and activist, Sting has also received a Golden Globe, four Academy Award nominations, a Tony nomination, Billboard magazine’s Century Award and the Kennedy Center Honors, as well as earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

‘With Sting’s concert at Villa Manin, another great appointment enters the rich programme of events linked to the European Capital of Culture 2025, which in addition to Gorizia will also involve the rest of the region thanks to the Go!2025&Friends programme. Welcomed with enthusiastic reviews in his first North American stop at the Fillmore in Detroit, by popular demand STING announces the European tour in which he will perform the most electrifying hits and rarities of his timeless discography: one of the most eagerly awaited dates is set for 9 July 2025 at Villa Manin, Codroipo (UD) and will be one of the great events of ‘GO! 2025&FRIENDS’, the event promoted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and PromoTurismoFVG that enriches the cultural and musical offer of the European Capital of Culture (Nova Gorica – Gorizia) in the whole Friuli Venezia Giulia region.

STING has always distinguished himself by constantly pushing the boundaries of musical innovation throughout his illustrious career and now he has reconfirmed himself, once again, by announcing ‘STING 3.0’: the project with virtuoso guitarist and long-time collaborator Dominic Miller and dynamic drummer Chris Maas (Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers), which represents a dynamic new era with selections from his vast catalogue, primarily from The Police, through the urgent lens of a tight-knit three-piece combo.
