Gianna Nannini is the number one of Italian rock, with her biting voice she manages to draw powerful sounds and romantic ballads.
Tuscan from Siena, after studying singing and composition, she rose to fame in 1979 with the single America, later collaborating on film soundtracks, including Gabriele Salvatores’ Sogno di una notte d’estate (in which she plays the role of Titania). The 1984 single Fotoromanza marked his unstoppable rise among the music bigwigs, studded with songs destined to enter the classic Italian repertoire.
From Bello e impossibile to Profumo (taken from the double platinum album of the same name), from I maschi to the more recent Sei nell’anima of 2006. At the end of October 2017, he releases the album Amore gigante. In November 2019 he releases the twenty-first album La differenza. In February 2024, he releases the album Sei nell’anima.
